Restaurant

The Restaurant

In a courtyard reminiscent of a village square, we create warm, approachable experiences rooted in a relaxed atmosphere and simple, full flavors. We use carefully selected ingredients from local producers and cook recipes passed down from our grandmothers. Again and again, we gather around the table with the people we love, sharing unforgettable moments – from celebrations to a quick lunch after a stroll through the city center.

Our Space

With a history dating back to 1845

and a past filled with stories – from serving as King Otto’s stables to becoming one of Athens’ oldest schools – the neoclassical building of Cinapos, nestled on the picturesque pedestrian street of Iraklidon, is a journey through old Athens in itself.

The open courtyard

The spacious and inviting main hall has been carefully renovated with respect to its original architecture, featuring stone walls, wooden beams, and striking monastery-style tables. In the open courtyard – the heart of it all – tables are laid out around the olive tree, while colorful accents and modern design touches create an atmosphere that feels like a holiday escape.
